Honda of Denton and Toyota of Denton are excited about partnering with your school or kid’s nonprofit organization. Here is how our 2018 Community Support Fundraiser works:
Your school / organization can utilize this opportunity to raise funds for specific projects by selling raffle tickets and 100% of the money raised goes to your school. The tickets will sell for $2.00 each. You decide where the funds are to be allocated! To get started, designate an individual who will serve as your school’s contact. This person will be solely responsible for requesting raffle tickets, turning in counted sold and unsold raffle tickets by the required date. Each organization can receive up to 3,000 raffle tickets to begin selling. If additional raffle tickets are needed, special arrangements can be made with the Community Support Director, Amalia Ballard. In addition, your organization will be responsible for tracking their funds since you keep 100% of the proceeds.
If you are from an organization that is not associated with a school, the appointed “designee” will need to provide your nonprofit 501(c)(3) form when signing up.
Honda of Denton and Toyota of Denton will provide ALL posters and raffle tickets that you need for your fundraiser at no expense to your organization. This is your opportunity to provide important details on your raffle; encourage community support and inform everyone on how to participate in your fundraising efforts. We also will have a vehicle available to display at your fundraiser. (Subject to availability.) This should help you sell more raffle tickets and raise more money for your school.
In exchange, Honda of Denton and Toyota of Denton would like placement in online sites like your school’s website, Facebook pages, etc. as well as advertisements in school publications, banners/signs (provided by us) at the athletic facilities (gymnasiums, football, baseball, softball fields, etc.)
We ask that you turn in all sold raffle tickets once a month by the 30th to Amalia Ballard, Community Support Director. (Have tickets counted and bags/boxes labeled with organization before dropping off.) This should enable us to keep each school and community abreast of the total dollars that have been raised for your school. Tickets should not be sold after Friday, March 31, 2018. All sold as well as unsold tickets must be turned in no later than Saturday, April 28, 2018. Please plan accordingly… NO tickets will be accepted after this date.
We give away 1 vehicle for the program, not per organization. The winner of the raffle will have their choice of a BRAND NEW car or truck from Honda of Denton or Toyota of Denton. They can choose a brand new Honda or Toyota vehicle with an MSRP of $30,000 or less. We will even pay the tax, title and license. The winner does not need to be present to win, but must be over the age of 18.
2017 Community Support Raffle will take place at Honda of Denton, 4050 S. I-35 East, Denton, TX 76210 on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 a.m.
